Success Academy is one of the country's highest profile, most innovative charter schools. Founded by NYC Councilwoman Eva Moskowitz in 2006, and featured in the award-winning documentary "Waiting for Superman," the schools set the standard for testing scores and college admissions in New York State. But research in 2019 showed that parents of K-6 students care less about test scores than about character development, integrity, honesty, individuality, and respect for all members of the community. These core values, which inspire and drive the SA curriculum, became the core messages in our 2019-20 enrollment campaign.

In year two, our focus was to explicitly connect curriculum to core values ... to show how every aspect of the Success Academy culture leads to character development, self-confidence, and social dexterity inside – and outside – the classroom.
