Success Academy is one of the country's highest profile, most innovative charter schools. Founded by former NYC Councilwoman Eva Moskowitz in 2006, and featured in the 2010 documentary "Waiting for Superman," the school sets the standards for testing scores in New York State, and for future college admissions. But research in 2019 showed that parents of K-6 students care less about test scores than about character, integrity, honesty, individuality, and respect for all members of the community. These core values, which inspire and drive the curriculum at Success Academy, became the core messages in our 2019-20 enrollment campaign. In year two, our focus was to connect curriculum to core values ... to show how every aspect of the Success Academy culture leads to character development, self-confidence, and social dexterity inside – and outside – the classroom.
